Planning
After thinking about taking a gap year I've actually been offered the chance to go to Australia with a couple of people. I still can't make my mind up about Uni and I don't want to start a course that I'm not completely decided on so I'm jumping at this chance and planning it all already. We're thinking of going around October/November time next year, after college is done with and the flight prices for the summer come back down. A couple of us have family out there in a few places so we're hoping to stay with them for a while and travel up the East Coast.
I've been looking into getting a working VISA because we want to earn money while we're there to travel onto the next place and do all of the amazing tourist-y things. There's a lot of websites and forums that are all really helpful.

Typography
Well in weather like this, what better handmade type than making something in the snow? Most of the snow was untouched in the car park I was in, which made it perfect to write my alphabet all over the floor.
Then when I got home I made another alphabet out of spaghetti all round the edge of my plate.

Gap Year
I've been looking at taking a gap year and I've always wanted to go to Australia. I've found a few diving courses there on the STA Travel website - it would be an amazing experience to dive in the Great Barrier Reef!
I've found one here that starts at £436
and this one here starts at £121
( which I want to look into more because it's so cheap, too good to be true?)

Gojunoto Pagoda
I've been looking at pagodas as part of my packaging project and wanted to post this photo as it's the nicest I've found yet. I love the really bright red with the black, I'm thinking of changing the colour scheme of my packaging now to something much bolder like this.
Progression after college
At the moment I'm still undecided about what I want to do after college. I'm not sure about staying in education any longer but I feel I need some more experience before I go into a job. I'm tempted to take a gap year to travel and get a full time job to earn some money if I do decide to go to Uni.
There is one course I've found that really appeals to me because of the range of genres there. It is the BA (Hons) Digital Film & Screen Arts at UCA in Farnham.
You can choose which media to specialise in later on, and can progress into careers including digital film editors, flash animators, digital visual effects artists and CGI animators, which all sound really good to me.
Hex Codes
The most reliable way to define a colour in HTML on a web page is using a Hex Code that the browser is able to understand.
The first two digits are the red value, the second two the green, and the last two are the blue.
